2020 Coaching courses

Notice: The RNZ coach development team was unable to meet this year, due to the effects of COVID -19. This initially means that the coach education was forced to be completed entirely online. After some testing, the introduction module was rolled out in May 2020. This proved popular, with coaches from all over the country join in on the Zoom platform. The development module was next rolled out online in August.

As well as the Coach development modules (further details below) there are also three online courses available which can be completed at any time:

- Rowing 101 for new coaches

- Nutrition course (aimed at rowers, but coaches can access this too)

- Coxing course (aimed at coxswains but coaches can complete for their own interest)

If you are not already registered on the RNZ Live Platform you will need to contact Jared Cummings for the Join Code. For more details please click here.

Below are the coaching courses which RNZ will run in 2019. The dates and locations will be updated as details are finalised. Please view the RNZ Calendar for upcoming courses in your region.
