Rocket Foods New Zealand Rowing Championships - SGM Outcome

  • 21 Dec 20

A Special General Meeting was held virtually on Monday 14 December, with all 11 Associations voting unanimously in favour of proposed changes to the 2021 Rocket Foods New Zealand Rowing Championships.

The proposal was developed by a Sub-Committee of the Domestic Committee, each of whom considered at length what changes were required to both retain and recruit club athletes and spectators at our national championship event.

Rowing NZ’s board and staff extend their gratitude to Mat Jensen, Alex Meates and Natalie Matheson for their tireless work in creating and presenting proposed changes, and we look forward to 2021’s event at Lake Ruataniwha, Twizel, where their valuable ideas will be brought to life.
