World Rowing Junior Championships - Day Four

At the conclusion of day four of the 2019 World Rowing Junior Championships, three of New Zealand’s four crews have progressed to A Finals.

Women’s Quad (JW4x) - A/B Semi-Final

After placing first in their women’s quad heat, Eva Hofmans, Rebecca Leigh, Shakira Mirfin and Phoebe Trolove were in the lead from 500m in their A/B semi-final, again taking first place and progressing to the A Final.

Men’s Quad (JM4x) - A/B Semi-Final

Ben Mason, Seth Hope, Jason Nel and William Thompson placed second in their men’s quad A/B semi-final and move to the A Final.

Men’s Double (JM2x) - A/B Semi-Final

Kobe Miller and Scott Shackleton placed fifth in their men’s double A/B semi-final and will contest the B Final.

New Zealand’s women’s four will also contest an A Final tomorrow after placing second in their heat earlier this week.
