Silver in Tokyo on Day Four of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games

Women's double scull - Silver

Brooke Donoghue and Hannah Osborne have secured the first rowing medal of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in the women's double sculls. The double, coached by James Coote, won the silver medal on the first day of rowing finals. They produced an impressive race, holding off the Netherlands by just less than a second.  

Men's double scull

Chris Harris and Jack Lopas contested the B final of the men's double sculls. The crew had a dominant start, however it was the Russian Olympic Committee who managed to push through for first place, followed by New Zealand, and Romania in third.

Women's quadruple sculls

Liv Loe, Eve Macfarlane, Ruby Tew and Georgia Nugent O'Leary produced a solid performance in their B final to finish in second place behind a strong crew from Great Britain.

Men's coxless pair

Stephen Jones and Brook Robertson finished sixth in their semi final in tough conditions. The crew will move to the B final of the men's coxless pair and are scheduled to race at 11.30am on Thursday 29 July. 

Women's coxless pair

Kerri Gowler and Grace Prendergast produced an impressive display in tough conditions during their semi final. The pair set a new world best time of 6.47.41 on their way to qualifying for the A final. The A final is schedule to race at 12.30pm on Thursday 29 July.
