Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games - Day Five Schedule

Day five of rowing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games will take place on Thursday 29 July 2021. Four New Zealand crews will line up with a mix of semi finals and finals. 

Men's coxless pair: B Final - 11.30am

Stephen Jones and Brook Robertson will contest the B final of the men's coxless pair at 11.30am. The crew will face Italy, Australia, the Netherlands, Belarus and France.

Women's coxless pair: A final - 12.30pm

Kerry Gowler and Grace Prendergast will line up in the first A final event of day 5. The crew broke the world best time in their semi final when qualifying through to the A final. They will line up against Canada, Great Britain, Greece, Russian Olympic Committee and Spain.

Women's single scull: Semi final A/B - 1.50pm

Emma Twigg will set out to progress through to the A final of the women's single scull when she takes the water for her semi-final at 1.50pm. Emma faces Iran, USA, Austria, Canada and Great Britain and must come finish in the top three crews to progress to the A final. 

Men's single scull: Semi final C/D - 2.50pm

Jordan Parry will compete in the C/D semi final tomorrow at 2.50pm. Jordan must place in the top three to move through to the C final and will line up against Zimbabwe, Egypt, Turkey, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan.
