2020 Tokyo Olympic Games - Day Two Results

Day two of racing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games saw four New Zealand crews take to the water. 

Women's coxless Pair:

Kerri Gowler and Grace Prendergast put on a dominant display in heat 3 of the women's coxless pair. They finished in first place and will progress to the semi final.

Men's coxless Pair:

Stephen Jones and Brook Robertson will progress through to the semi final after finishing third in heat two of the men's coxless pair.

Men's coxed eight:

Matt Macdonald, Shaun Kirkham, Philip Wilson, Dan Williamson, Michael Brake, Tom Murray, Hamish Bond, Tom Mackintosh and Sam Bosworth (cox) placed second in their heat behind the Netherlands. The crew move to the repechage in order to progress to the A final. 

Women's coxed eight:

Jackie Gowler, Beth Ross, Kerri Gowler, Grace Prendergast, Kelsey Bevan, Lucy Spoors, Emma Dyke, Ella Greenslade and Caleb Shepherd (cox) have place first in heat one of the women's coxed eight and will progress through to the A final.
