Aon Maadi Cup Update – 2 March
Rowing NZ are aware that various media outlets have incorrectly suggested Rowing NZ has, or intends to, cancel the 2021 Aon Maadi Cup scheduled to be hosted 22 - 27 March at Lake Karapiro. To date, no media outlets have contacted Rowing NZ to confirm these statements, nor are they correct. Where possible, Rowing NZ are approaching these outlets to request retractions.
At present, the New Zealand Government has given no indication that the current Alert Level statuses in place across New Zealand may extend into mid-late March, and therefore there are no current plans to suspend, postpone or cancel the 2021 Aon Maadi Cup.
