Nelson Rowing Club to host Coastal Beach Sprints
Nelson Rowing Club will host a Coastal Beach Sprints event on January 3, 2021 on Moturoa Rabbit Island from 10am - 2pm.
Coastal rowing is the extreme version, the adventure side of rowing. It involves rowing along a sea coast and out into the sea. It is one of the fastest growing communities of rowers as the boats mean flat water is not needed to row.
A fun, friendly and inclusive event, Nelson Rowing Club welcome rowers of all abilities to enter the regatta. Entries may be made by individuals, partial crews and full crews for a round-robin event.
A BBQ will be held for all spectators and rowers, with the Bay Dreams Musical Festival also being held in Nelson on 5 January.
