​New Zealand's Women's Eight Announced as Finalist In Favourite Sporting Moment of 2019

New Zealand's women's eight have today being announced as a finalist in New Zealand’s Favourite Sporting Moment of 2019 for their remarkable win at the World Rowing Championships in Linz, Austria. The win marked the first occasion that New Zealand has won the women’s eight event at a World Rowing Championships.

The award is the only category voted for by the public at the 57th ISPS Handa Halberg Awards. 

Voting is available online and via TXT. Individuals may vote once a day from now until 9.00pm on Thursday 13 February 2020.

Everyone who votes for the Sporting Moment by 30 January 2020 goes in the draw for a trip for two, including flights and accommodation, to the 57th ISPS Handa Halberg Awards at Spark Arena, Auckland on Thursday 13 February 2020.
