2019 New Zealand Masters Rowing Championships

Lake Ruataniwha will host over 300 master’s rowers this weekend at the New Zealand Masters Rowing Championships.

  • Entries closed at 8pm Tuesday 3 September with 306 athletes from 36 clubs entered
  • 152 events, with the largest number of entries in the mixed D – F double with 33 entries
  • Two days of racing
  • A rower can race as a master in the year of their 27th birthday. This years oldest competitor at this years regatta is 87

Events are broken up into 8 blocks with blocks 1-4 run on Saturday, 5-8 run on Sunday. Heats are run first for each block then finals run in order within that same block. Mixed Events are run as divisions only with medals awarded to all the place-getters in each division.
