​Henley Royal Regatta - The Stewards’ Enclosure

Competing for the Wyfold Challenge Cup in the intermediate coxless four was New Zealand’s only crew racing in the first day of the Henley Royal Regatta, Wairau Rowing Club.

The crew of Troy O’Reily, Josh Earl, Tufi Sele and Joseph Trappit comfortably winning their race ahead of London Rowing Club by 4 lengths in a time of 7:36.

Their next race will see them meet the Lea Valley Rowing Club B crew, where another win is expected for the crew. Stronger competition is expected later in the week with one crew boasting a winning time of 6:46.

Friday’s racing will see New Zealand contest the Visitors Trophy and the Wyfold Challenge Cup.
