2014 U-23 World Rowing Championships - Silver, men's coxed four

After competing in the 2018 World Rowing Cup II and III in the men's eight, a shoulder injury prevented Anthony competing at the World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

In 2017 Anthony was named in the men's eight that raced at World Cup II, Henley Royal Regatta, and World Cup III. Anthony was then selected to the men's coxless four to race at the 2017 World Rowing Championships in Sarasota, Florida.

In 2016 Anthony Allen competed in the men's four at the Final Qualification regatta in Lucerne in May with the hope of qualifying for the Rio Olympic Games. The crew finished third in the A final, just one place outside of qualification.

Anthony first represented New Zealand in rowing at the 2014 Under-23 World Rowing Championships in the Coxed Four and won Silver. In 2015 Anthony was selected into the men's elite four alongside Alex Bardoul, Bobby Kells and Finn Howard.
