Men's Lightweight Single


2015 World Rowing Championships - Gold, men's lightweight single

In 2016 Adam competed in the men's lightweight double with Toby Cunliffe-Steel at the Final Qualification regatta in Lucerne in May with the hope of qualifying for the Rio Olympic Games however it wasn't to be with the duo finishing sixth in their A final. In 2015 Adam won gold, claiming the world title in the men's lightweight single at the World Rowing Championships in Aiguebelette.

Adam attended secondary school at Aquinas College and picked up the sport of rowing in 2005, he then went onto Tauranga Boys College to complete his final year of schooling.

Adam has raced for New Zealand at the U23 level in both the men's lightweight four (2012) and the men's lightweight single (2013) finishing 8th and 4th respectively. In 2014 Adam teamed up with Alistair Bond in the lightweight double sculls.
