Fiona Bourke raced in the women’s single at the 2015 World Rowing Championships finishing 14 th overall.

At the 2014 World Rowing Championships Fiona won gold in the women’s double scull with Zoe Stevenson.

In 2013 Fiona won gold at the Lucerne and Sydney World Cup in the women’s double with Zoe Stevenson as a new combination. They finished off the season by winning silver at the 2013 World Rowing Championships.

Fiona's first Olympic Games were in London 2012 where she was in the women's quadruple scull. Unfortunately the crew were unable to progress to the A final after an oar breakage in the repechage.

In 2011 Fiona secured two third place finishes in 2011 World Cup regattas before going to the World Rowing Championships in Bled and securing Olympic qualification with another third place finish.

Fiona rowed at the 2010 Senior Rowing World Championships at Lake Karapiro in the women’s quadruple scull, and was a key part of that boat through to the 2012 Olympics.

Fiona first started rowing at Otago University in 2008 - she was a late starter to the sport, she first represented New Zealand in the Under 23 women’s eight which competed at the 2010 Under 23 Rowing World Championships in Belarus, taking a silver medal in the final.

Fiona is currently studying through Massey University and is completing a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accounting).
