Assistant Coach

The rowing programme at Samuel Marsden Collegiate promotes independent thinking and resilience in line with the Visible Wellbeing approach. We are a programme that focuses on the long-term process, and not the short-term outcome, promoting effort over talent.

Within this role, the successful candidate will be working with the Director of Rowing to plan and deliver a range of water and land-based training sessions for members of our rowing programme, including the Intro to Row, novice and senior training sessions; all in preparation for selected competitions and NISS regatta.

The successful applicant must be available, and flexible, to work the hours required within the rowing programme as set out by the Director of Rowing. This includes regattas and camps. Remuneration will reflect your experience and commitment to the rowing programme.
