CMRC is located on the banks of the Waikato River at Mercer, and has access to premium water at all times.
Our membership is predominantly school-aged rowers aged 12-18 yrs representing both CMRC and school rowing programmes from High Schools and Colleges within the Counties Manukau area, these programmes are administered by CMRC.
CMRC is inviting applications for a Head of Rowing to lead our rowing coaching programme for the 2020/21 season. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our great group of coaches and rowing squad.
CMRC is seeking an experienced and dedicated lead Coach to help grow our depth of talent and enhance the positive rowing culture that currently exists in the Club.
CMRC strongly promotes an inclusive, engaged and positive culture as a high priority.
We strive for success in rowing, as well as advancement of rowing in schools within our communities. We have had considerable success at national club and school events.
This role could suit an up and coming Head Coach, or an experienced Coach who wants to pass on their knowledge in order to grow rowing and the great culture already existing at the club.
If you are keen to be a great role model for our young rowers, to develop and advance rowing at our Colleges and be part of a committed, enthusiastic programme, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
The role is supported by our team of Coaches and a committed parent rowing committee.
This is a paid part time fixed term contract role for the year from 1 Jun 2020 to 31 May 2021, payment expected to be circa $12k -$15k per annum.

Hours per week required: September to March circa 15 hours p.w. across 5 training days (afternoon based), plus regattas and camps. Winter training flexible.
