St Paul’s Collegiate School is a leading independent school situated in Hamilton that has a well-rounded sporting culture and a drive for High-Performance sporting success. With a roll of approximately 750 students – of whom almost half are boarders, the school also operates an outdoor experience for its Year 10 students for six months at its Tihoi Venture Campus on the western side of Lake Taupo.
St Paul’s Collegiate is looking to appoint a Director of Rowing that will lead the schools rowing programme on and off the water with the support of the Rowing Committee and the Director of Sports Development.
The key focus of this role will be high performance and athlete and coach development through strategic direction, programme management and recruitment.
The successful applicant will need to be well organised, have the ability to communicate effectively, motivate and bring the best out of our students by demonstrating high standards in commitment, attitude, presentation and enthusiasm towards the rowing programme.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about rowing, is an exceptional leader and has experience and knowledge of both education and rowing sectors. All applicants should have proven experience coaching at school or representative level rowing. This is a full-time, year-round position (minimum of 30 hours per week).
