St Paul’s Collegiate are looking to appoint a Director of Rowing that will lead the schools rowing programme on and off the water with the support of the Rowing committee and the Director of Sports Development.
The key focus of this role will be high performance and athlete and coach development through strategic direction, programme management and recruitment.
The successful applicant will need to be well organised, have the ability to communicate effectively, motivate and bring the best out of our students by demonstrating high standards in commitment, attitude, presentation and enthusiasm towards the rowing programme.
Our ideal candidate will either be a fully registered teacher who is passionate about rowing, or someone who is an exceptional leader that has proven experience coaching rowing at school or representative level.
For teachers, this is a full-time opportunity with a reduced teaching load (to be negotiated), or for non-teachers this is a part time opportunity (approximately 30 hours per week during Rowing season, and 5 hours per week off season).
