The 10th Anniversary of the iconic rowing race Billy Webb Challenge is taking place on Sunday 2nd December 2018 in Whanganui.
Whanganui has a proud rowing history and the Billy Webb Challenge was introduced in 2008 to commemorate New Zealand’s first professional single sculling world champion.
The weekend and race day encompasses the annual Jury Cup Regatta held on the Aramoho ,000 metre course on Saturday 1st December.
The Billy Webb Challenge includes a Secondary School Sprint Regatta Challenge and the Community Eights.
