Lake Taupō provides one of the most majestic places to row in the country.

We aim to provide rangatahi and adults of all backgrounds and abilities the opportunity to row.

Taupo Rowing Club provides a quality rowing experience in an inclusive, affordable, supportive, committed and safe environment.

We offer a free Learn to Row programme every September through October with top notch coaches.

We launch from several locations. The masters row from the Taupō Beach near the marina and Yacht Club. We also have club training facilities at the Sea Scout Ship close to town for our rangatahi. We have storage and boats in Tokaanu at the Southern end of the lake and can row there when the rest of the lake is too rough. Taupō Rowing Club has been in operation from 1975. We are always looking for more rowers of any ability to join.
