We are a small friendly rural club always looking for keen rowers. Training on the Piako River in Ngatea we 'train in a drain!' We are dedicated to the sport of rowing.
Our season runs from September through to March/April.
Situated next to both the river and Hauraki Plains College, we are only one hour from 3 cities - Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga.
Our club is also only one hour from Lake Karapiro, where most of our regattas are held.
