Aon New Zealand University Rowing Championships

Aon New Zealand University Rowing Championships

The most fiercely contested event on the University Rowing calendar is the Aon New Zealand University Rowing Championships held around Easter time each year, which is competitive on the water and a whole heap of fun off the water.

This regatta is open to all University rowers, but they must be studying (part or full-time) at the time of the regatta commencing and each student must be able to provide photo student identification at the regatta.

Events available will be from Novice, Tournament, Varsity and Championship, in a range of boat types depending on the grade.

Racing format will be a 2km course (except for the Championship eights which are a 3.2km race).

If your University is interested in getting involved please contact info@rowingnz.kiwi for further information.
