Sad passing of James Boyce
Rowing NZ are very saddened to hear of the passing of James Boyce.
James wore many hats in the sport of rowing, including being a KRI Board member and delegate on behalf of the Bay of Plenty Rowing Association, however James was arguably more known for his lovely smile and incredibly gentle nature.
James was well-known within the wider rowing community, and his warmth and kindness will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Our thoughts are with Julie, Shannon, Taylor and Riley and James’ wider friends at family at this time.
James’ funeral will be held at 2pm on Thursday 16 August at the Blue Lake in Rotorua.
