2018 World Rowing U23 Championships - Day Three
The first semi-finals at the 2018 World Rowing U23 Championships in Poznan, Poland began at an earlier time as a weather change was expected later in the day. New Zealand crews raced under sunny summer skies with a combined cross and small head wind making the water rather lively.
Women’s Pair (BW2-) – Semi-finals
These crews raced in the heats two days ago and they were back racing for a chance to be in the final. In Semi-final, New Zealand’s crew of Ruby Willis and Laura Glen placed sixth and move to the B-final.
Women’s Double Sculls (BW2X) – Repechage
In New Zealand’s Women’s Double Sculls, Luka Ellery and Nicola Baker comfortably won their repechage and progress to the semi-final.
Women's Four (BW4-) – Repechage
Kate Haines, Davina Waddy, Catherine Layburn and Charlotte Spence crossed the line second in the Women’s Four repechage, two seconds shy of first place China. Both crews progress to the A final.
Lightweight Men's Double Sculls (BLM2x) – Repechage
Isaac Everitt and Chris Stockley placed second in their repechage and move to the semi-final.
