Expressions of Interest - Junior Selection Panel
Seeking expression of Interest
Junior Team Selector Positions
Rowing NZ is seeking expression of interest to fill two positions on the Junior Team Selection Panel. With one selector promoted to the U23 panel and one unavailable for reappointment, we have two positions available for suitably qualified candidates.
Ideally at least one selector would be based in the South Is attending local & regional regattas as well as the South Is Secondary Schools Championships. The other could be based in either the North Is or South Is.
This is an opportunity to get involved in the continued success of the Rowing NZ High Performance program and ongoing success of our Junior team programme, which Rowing NZ has seen a direct benefit in preparing athletes for future team selections.
All applicants should have a strong background in the selection of rowing teams, have experience in analysing results and have good organisation and communications skills.
The successful applicants will be appointed on to the panel for a period of three years with a review conducted after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Games. There will be some domestic travel required.
If you are interested in this volunteer position, please provide a covering letter describing your suitability, together with a detailed resume to Judith Hamilton via email: email@example.com by close of business on Friday 24 th November 2017.
Applicants should also be familiar with the RNZ Selection Policy and Junior Selection Terms of Reference which is viewed on Rowing NZ website – click here
